This weekend Dwyane Wade was reunited with Boys and Girls Club scholarship winners Amaya Hamilton and Tamara Johnson. He met the students their freshman year and now they are about to graduate. Thank you for the 4 years of support, Dwyane!

Remembering The Dream:  Marquette hall-of-famer Dean “The Dream” Meminger passed away on Aug. 23, 2013 at age 65. Under Coach Al McGuire, Meminger helped Marquette basketball win the 1970 NIT championship, claiming the MVP for the tournament. Meminger, a 1971 Marquette graduate, played for the New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks. He also coached basketball, most recently at Manhattanville College for the 2003-04 season. “In my 25 years as a coach,” Meminger wrote, “I’ve learned that it’s pretty easy to set up a screen pass or choose the right defense. The bigger challenge is making a personal connection to your players….”
