In my 20+ years at Marquette, I saw many deserving academic superstars receive scholarships and honors. But I also saw many hard-working and promising B students — like I was as an undergraduate — who also deserved recognition.

The Schrank Scholarship Fund was established for “hard-working and promising B students” by Carl Schrank, retired College of Communication teacher and advisor. Student candidates must have GPAs between 2.8 and 3.4, be certified as requiring financial aid and be advertising or public relations majors.
